Chris Coppenbarger, J.D., M.A., has over 19 years of federal grant and related agreements experience with nearly 17 years at USDA, including senior program, operations, and policy positions at the U.S. Forest Service (current), Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), National Institute of Food & Agriculture (NIFA), and Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS). Chris was a Presidential Management Fellow and served in the U.S. Peace Corps (Tanzania). He earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law Houston, and a Master of International Development and Social Change degree from Clark University. Chris is the 2016 National Grants Management Association Impact/Public Sector Award recipient.
