Peter Kim is the Cost Team Lead for IFAS, LLC at the Requirements and Analysis Branch of the Defense Information Systems Agency. Prior to this position, he last served as the Advisor for the Director of Financial Performance Assessment, Headquarters Dept of Army (HQDA) where he focused on associating cost and budget with measures of performance. As the primary Technical Advisor to the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Cost and Economics, he established the HQDA Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) Review Board and served as its Inaugural Chair. He has personally led studies to inform senior leader decisions with multi-billion dollar impacts and taught cost and decision analysis concepts and principles to thousands of students. Prior to his service as a government civilian, Peter was a Director of Business Development at Finmeccanica, Program Manager at Boeing, and an Army Aviation Officer. He studied accounting and finance at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and electrical engineering at the US Military Academy.
