She is associate professor Emerita, Southern Illinois University and a Pathology Fellow and approved speaker of the American Academy of Dental Hygiene. She is a past president of the Illinois Dental Hygienists’ Association. Awards include teacher of the year, oral health champion award, and the RDH/Sunstar Award of distinction
