Dr. Austin is retired from teaching Video Game Development at the University of Baltimore. She now resides in Central Florida which provides a healthy mix of fun and writing. A volunteer for both Code.org and CoderDojo, she is active in promoting computer programming in the early grades. Dr. Austin collaborates with Lorraine Bergkvist a lifelong teacher and information technologist. In her 50 year career, Dr. Austin has amassed a large number of awards and citations.
