Suzanne Williams is the Coding and Robotics Specialist at South Mckeel Academy and holds a BA in elementary education, as well as, an MA in technology based education. This is her 4nd year teaching coding and robotics to students in grades K-4. Previously, she spent 7 years assisting students and teachers with effective, standards-based STEM integration and also taught 3rd grade for 7 years. She has worked in classrooms with teachers on a weekly basis to help transform learning with iPads and other forms of technology, she ran her school’s makerspace and facilitated weekly STEM challenges to enhance classroom learning and encourage the use of the engineering design process to solve problems, and currently she works with students to develop computational thinking skills and a deeper understanding of robotics and coding.
