Samuel Schaefer was appointed president and CEO of Weltham-based, Hobbs Brook Management in August 2019. Schaefer was previously managing director and global head of property management, leasing and corporate outreach at real-estate firm Tishman Speyer in Boston. Recent Tishman Speyer projects include luxury condominiums in Boston’s Seaport District and an office at 200 Pier Four Blvd. that’s home to the headquarters of Boston Consulting Group and education company Cengage. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer in 2001, Schaefer worked with real-estate services company John Buck Co. in Chicago and for Heitman LLC, a real estate investment management firm. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and government from DePauw University.
