John K. Scott has over 30 years’ experience in commercial asset management and project leasing. As Managing Director of Colliers International in Florida, he is responsible for Florida Real Estate Management Services, directing a portfolio of over 285 commercial properties across 32 million square feet. He leads over 125 professionals specializing in property management, accounting, and facilities maintenance and is an integral part of the Florida executive leadership team. John worked closely with BOMA on numerous positions at the local, national, and international levels. His passion for sustainability and energy intertwined him with DOE in 2007 and led to positions as Chair of the Commercial Real Estate Energy Alliance (2010-2013), Co-Chair of the 2015 Building Energy Summit, and Chair of the Berkeley FLEXLAB Executive Advisory Board (2013-Present). John also co-authored multiple chapters of a BOMI educational textbook on high performance building valuation.
