Michael Bogdanow

Michael Bogdanow currently serves as the Acting Director of the Office of Regional Operations at the Merit Systems Protection Board, and is a certified Mediator in the MSPB’s Mediation Appeals Program. He previously served in several positions at the MSPB and its predecessor agency, the U.S. Civil Service Commission, and was detailed as an Attorney, U.S. Claims Court (now the U. S. Court of Federal Claims). Most recently he was MSPB’s Senior Legal Liaison between headquarters and the agency’s eight regional and field offices. A graduate of the George Washington University, Phi Beta Kappa, and its National Law Center, he is a member of the Bars of the District of Columbia and New Jersey, and is a former Board member of the Federal Circuit Bar Association. He is co-author with Thomas Lanphear of History of the Merit Systems Protection Board, published in the Journal of the Federal Circuit Historical Society, Volume 4, 2010, as well as author of earlier law journal articles.
