Doug Himmelein works as the Vice President of Human Resources for Holland Home, which is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Holland Home, which recently celebrated over 125 years of service, is the largest non-profit Home and Community Based Services in Michigan. Serving over 1400 employees, which include Hospice, Home Care, Private Duty, Pace Program, Medicaid Waiver Program serving disabled older adults, Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, Adult Foster Care, & a Facility Management Company. He has over 20 years of progressive experience in senior living with Holland Home. Doug is an active member of Holland Home’s Senior Leadership committee. One of Doug’s progressive leadership strengths is the ability to form partnerships with the public and private sectors. With these partnerships that Doug has developed, he has assisted in positioning Holland Home to continue its mission for another 125 years.
