Erick began his career in safety and environment with Lucent Technology in 1999 which was triggered by a work-related vehicle accident resulting in multiple – fatalities. The incident has made him very passionate about safety and reminds him daily to keep safety at a personal level. He has been with Schneider Electric since 2001. His work experience has been mainly industrial safety and the environment. At Schneider Electric, Erick facilitates safety and environmental activities for 32 sites with more than 11,000 employees including Mexico. He has participated in several international projects including country level assessments and partnerships at Schneider Electric sites in Brazil and Spain. He also has been a Robert W. Campbell Award reviewer for the last three years. Erick holds an Industrial Engineering degree and MBA from the North University of Monterrey, Mexico. He is an outdoor enthusiast who has been married for over 10 years and has three sons.
