Lynnea Phillips was named the Assistant AD of NIL, Student-Athlete Branding, Social & Digital Media in July 2021. Phillips joined the Mark Cuban Center for Sports Media and Technology in September 2016. In her position – she leads the department's digital efforts by overseeing content for social media accounts, managing the opendorse partnership, and leading the voice of Indiana Athletics, Indiana Football and Indiana Men's Basketball on social media. Phillips also serves as the editor of IUHoosiers.com, in addition to the mobile application. She is a member of the department's Anti-Hate and Anti-Racism Coalition and Name, Image, and Likeness Taskforce. Phillips graduated from Colorado State University-Pueblo in 2013 and received a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications (Integrated Communication). After graduating, she worked at the National Collegiate Athletic Association in Indianapolis as a member of the Postgraduate Internship Program. In her role with Membership and Student-Athlete Affairs, she supported the Accelerating Academic Success Program. Prior to joining the staff at Indiana, Phillips spent two years as the Social Media Coordinator for the University of North Carolina Tar Heels. A member of the National Association of Collegiate Marketing (NACMA) and Women Leaders in College Sports, Phillips was one of six selected to participate in NACMA's inaugural 3 Pillars at Work Program. She is a Lakeville, Indiana native who now resides in Bloomington.
