Danny joined the NCAA men’s basketball staff in December of 2015 after serving as the Director of Event Management at the University of Oklahoma Athletics Department. Danny’s primary responsibilities include managing budgets and competition venue logistics for the preliminary rounds, oversight of the Final Four ancillary events and coordinating and executing the Final Four and preliminary round bid processes. At the University of Oklahoma, Danny served as tournament manager for various NCAA and Big 12 Conference championships including three NCAA National Championships. Danny received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in 2006 and his graduate degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2008.
