Austin Dillard returned to Clemson Athletics in 2021 as the Assistant Athletic Director of Business Operations. Since his return, he is now serving as the Associate Athletic Director of Business Operations and Acting CFO where he directs and oversees all financial aspects of the Athletics Department. Dillard previously served as the Business Operations Manager and Assistant Director of Business Operations at Mississippi State University from 2017-2021. Prior to Mississippi State, he got his start in Athletics by serving as an intern for Clemson Athletics Ticket Office. Dillard is from Roanoke, Virginia. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Public Relations) from Virginia Tech in 2014. He continued his education by earning a Master of Science in Sport and Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina in 2017. Dillard and his wife, Stacy, reside in Pendleton and have two children, a son Landon and daughter Blake.
