Beginning her professional Amusement Industry career right here at IAAPA as a marketing intern in 2009, Melissa started out maintaining online content and fine tuning details for the association’s upcoming events. Eventually this segued into an opportunity with Premier Rides’ (Baltimore, MD) Parts and Service department, where she focused on project management and administration of their ride service projects. This lead to a role near her hometown’s Ralph S. Alberts Co. (Montoursville, PA), where for 5 years Melissa was Director of Operations for all manufacturing and sales functions. In May of 2018 Melissa was announced as the new Director of Amusement Park Industry Division at Baynum Painting Inc, the industry’s premier global provider of ride coating services. Today Melissa’s outstanding Amusement industry experience and knowledge see’s her traveling the world representing Baynum on ride renovation projects, and building strong relationships with park owners, ride manufacturers, and other industry vendors and suppliers everywhere. Melissa remains an active contributor within several trade associations, including IAPPA, NAARSO, AIMS International, NJAA, NEAAPA, and PAPA.
