Ash at 12 started alongside his brother; selling programmes and taking bookings at Billy Smarts’ Circus. Whilst gaining a BA degree he spent holiday periods working in food & beverage as well as rides & attractions. He later gained a MA degree with Distinction in Intelligence & International Security. Ash worked outside the industry in administration and bookkeeping before returning to managerial roles at Harbour Park within operations and accounts. Promoted to Finance Director in 2011, he later became a Certified Attractions Executive (ICAE). At Harbour Park he now combines leading the finances with being Deputy Managing Director. An active member in both national (BALPPA) and international associations Ash was a member of IAAPA’s Young Professional Work Group for six years, chairing the group 2014-2016. While as chair he introduced YP education programs worldwide and launched the Young Professional of the Year Award in 2015. Ash currently serves the industry through being a member on IAAPA’s Investment Committee, Hall of Fame & Archives Committee and the Parks & Attractions Committee.
