Bob’s career path in the Amusement Park Industry started in 1991. Having been a production accountant, an entrepreneur operating a white-water rafting/ ski tour company, and facilitating and teaching at a post-secondary level for most of the 80’s Bob wrote a curriculum program on “Service Excellence” for the tourism and hospitality industry. Calaway Park became the test facility, hence the relationship with Bob and the Park began. Being offered the Marketing Director position and attending his first IAAPA Convention in 1992 Bob knew this is where he wanted to be. From 1991-2010 Bob was the Marketing Director for the park yet was immersed in several operational departments with-in the park. In 2010 Bob became the Assistant General Manager which evolved into the General Manager in 2013 which is his present role today. Bob Williams has been active with the Tourism Industry for the past 29 years. He is married with two children and is passionate about golf and squash.
