David Novstrup has been the general manager of Wylie Thunder Road in Aberdeen, South Dakota since 2001 and in Family Entertainment industry since 1994. His main responsibility as general manager is daily operations and supervising twenty five staff members. Wylie Thunder Road has five attractions which are go-karts, bumper boats, mini-golf, Laser Maze Challenge/Beam Buster, and Euro Bungy Trampolines. Thunder Road Family Fun Parks are family owned and have two other locations which are in Sioux Falls and Watertown, South Dakota. He also has served in the South Dakota Legislature from 2007-2016. David has a business management degree from Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He is currently on IAAPA’s FEC Committee and North American Government Relations Sub-Committee. He has served on both of those committees since 2015. David is an IAAPA Certified Attractions Executive.
