Chris Perry is the CEO for WhiteWater Southeast Asia (WW-SEA) based in Bangkok, Thailand which opened in 2016. WW-SEA is an integrated services company providing operational consulting, design, technical services, pre-opening and operational management to developers, investors, and owners throughout the Middle East and Southeast Asia, with clients in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, Hong Kong, Pakistan and Jordan. Chris has been in the waterpark industry his entire life (working at his father’s facility since the age of 14) and 15 of those years at the now famous Wild Wadi Waterpark in Dubai. Chris was the General Manager of Wild Wadi. His multinational teams consistently created truly customer-intimate experiences that received numerous industry, safety and service awards. Chris previously worked as an independent, international operational consultant, helping new facilities think through design considerations with an operational mindset. Chris is active within the industry, having served on the Board of Directors of IAAPA and as Waterpark Committee Chairman, initiating the first Waterpark Incident Reporting Survey for the industry. Chris was also one of the founding members of MENALAC (Middle East & North Africa Leisure and Attractions Council). Chris was the host of Travel Channel's amusement series, Epic Attractions, providing viewers with an all-access, backstage pass to the best attractions in the world. Chris also hosted Travel Channel’s, Mission Amusement, an amusement ‘turn-around’ show which focused on providing major face lifts and business overhauls to struggling amusement facilities. Chris has a teaching degree in Education from Eastern Illinois University and an MBA from London Business School. Chris has lived in the USA, Australia, Mexico, U.A.E. and now resides in Bangkok, Thailand with his wife Lisa and their 2 children, Noah and Ella.
