Laura E. Durback completed her CGFM in 2005, joining AGA in 2017. She is also a CPA and a Certified Defense Financial Manager. She recently joined the Northern Virginia AGA Chapter. She has 15 years of government experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. She currently serves as Lead, Financial Statement Support for the Financial Reporting Directorate (J85) of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). She previously worked in private industry. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Virginia. Laura has a special interest in recruiting, as well as advocacy for employment of individuals with disabilities.
