Christy Ferguson is a Media Resource Specialist and ed-tech leader dedicated to learning new and innovative ways to help make her media center and campus thrive using today’s technology tools. She is focused on helping students become technology literate and also to become responsible digital citizens. Mrs. Ferguson coordinates a flexible Learning Commons which includes an innovative Makerspace area. As a Google Certified Trainer, she also provides training on a variety of G Suite for Education tools and has been in elementary education for 20 years. She has taught 4th and 5th grades, and been a media specialist since 2004. She enjoys working with technology, reading, and traveling.
