Terry is an Instructional Technology Coach with over twenty-five years’ experience collaborating with teachers and students to identify, provide, and promote technology integration. In collaboration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, she has implemented Innovation and App Challenges. In 2014, a challenge to provide broader learning opportunities for K-5 students to be better able to think critically and solve problems provided Terry an opportunity to design and implement in-school, curriculum-focused MakerSpaces and a Broadcast room. She has promoted Computer Science and coding integration and brought CS opportunities to her school. As a result of the various technology and STEAM opportunities and programs, her school, Mountain View, was awarded the 2017 STEM Excellence Award.
