Jon Ostendorf
Chief Information Officer
Princeton Day School, N.J.
Jon Ostendorf has been an educational technology leader for over twenty years. He currently serves as Chief Information Officer at Princeton Day School, where he has also worked with the school’s STEAM program. He has previously led information technology functions for a premier independent boarding school, and for two of South Carolina’s largest school districts. He is a frequent presenter on leadership, STEM, risk assessment and information security. Jon believes in the intelligent and intentional application of technology. He advocates for its creative, transformational use, while focusing on organizational goals and carefully minding security and privacy considerations. Before working in education, Jon was an engineer for an international corporation. He holds a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cornell University, and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
