Began steel career as an intern at National Steel in 1978. Graduated Purdue with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1982. Joined Inland Steel in 1983. Helped build and commission I/N Kote in 1991. Worked in Engineering, Operations, and Procurement for ArcelorMittal.
