Pat Iannone received the BS and PhD from Columbia and Princeton Universities, respectively. In 1985 he joined AT&T Bell Labs (later AT&T Labs) and has made research contributions in optical access and wireless metro systems and subsystems. In 2014 he rejoined Bell Laboratories. Dr. Iannone has co-authored many publications, holds 50 U.S. patents, and has served on several conference and society committees, and as co-editor-in-chief of IEEE/OSA Journal of Optical Communications and Networking. He is a Fellow of the IEEE.
