Ram Ranganathan is a Director of Technology and Strategy at CommScope. His current areas of research include Low Latency DOCSIS, LTE and 5G xhaul, Distributed Access Architecture, Traffic Engineering and Bandwidth Modeling. Prior to his current role at CommScope, Ram has served in technology leadership and innovation roles at ARRIS, SeaWell Networks, Siemens and Cplane Inc., working on a range of telecommunication and networking technologies including IP Video Streaming, Enterprise WiFi, Network Security and Software Defined Networking. Ram holds a Master’s in Computer Engineering from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor’s in Electronics & Communications Engineering from Anna University, India.
