Jeff White is Head of Cable Strategy and Business Development for Nokia. He has over 25 years of experience building and investing in early stage companies, and came to Nokia in conjunction with their acquisition of Gainspeed, a pioneer in next-gen cable access solutions, where Jeff was Chief Strategy Officer and Co-founder. Before Gainspeed, Jeff was President of Hatteras Networks where he was instrumental in the company’s redirection and growth prior to its merger with Overture. Previously, Jeff held key executive leadership positions and transformational roles at Cognio (acquired by Cisco), Aruba Networks (IPO), Packet Engines (acquired by Alcatel), and FORE Systems (IPO). Jeff was also a Partner at Columbia Capital where he made numerous investments and served as a member of the board of directors or as a board observer on numerous investments. Jeff holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
