Neill Kipp is a Distinguished Engineer and Cloud Software Architect for Comcast Strategic Platform Acceleration and Cloud Engineering (SPACE). As architect, he designed the user experience and total cost of ownership model for the hybrid cloud management platform and saw through its deployment across the enterprise. Kipp also designed and developed Comcast's IP video origination system that serves IP on-demand, linear, and cloud digital video recording for the Xfinity Stream application. Prior to joining Comcast, he developed IPTV set-top guide applications for Nokia Siemens Networks. Kipp was Honorarium Instructor in Computer Science at the University of Colorado Denver where he taught graduate-level software architecture courses including User Experience Design, Web Systems Architectures, and Ubiquitous Computing. No stranger to the podium, Kipp is a charismatic speaker who has engaged audiences at dozens of technical conferences, including ApacheCon, ACM, and SCTE Expo.
