Anna Albers is a Senior Engineer in System Track at Amtrak. She joined the company in 2013 as an engineering intern and in 2014 was hired full-time for the Management Trainee program. This three-year program allowed her to complete rotations through and gain experience in all of Amtrak’s divisions. In her current position as Senior Engineer, Anna is responsible for the rail flaw detection program, rail service failure management, and the vegetation control program for the entire Amtrak system nation-wide. She also assists with the rail friction and lubrication management programs. Anna is originally from Honesdale, Pennsylvania and earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Temple University in Philadelphia.
