Katie Hadenfeldt is Sr. Vice President of Sales for GATX Corporation headquartered in Chicago, with responsibility for leading the Midwest and Mexico regions for GATX’s North America Railcar Leasing business. Prior to re-joining GATX, Katie was Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Loram Maintenance of Way, Inc. from March 2016 to June 2018, with responsibility for leading all marketing and sales activities for Loram’s contract service business worldwide. From 2007 to 2016, Katie held various roles in sales management at GATX including her last position of Vice President of Sales-Railroads and Biofuels. She was responsible for leading a region comprised of leasing and financing rail equipment to the Class I railroads and the shortline industry; this regional also had responsibility for all activities in the Biofuels Industry. Katie worked at Union Pacific Railroad for seven years in a variety of marketing and sales positions in Omaha and Los Angeles. Her last appointment involved responsibility for developing 60 ethanol plants on UP lines and assisting in the development of the UP Ethanol Marketing group. She started her career at International Paper in Memphis as an inbound materials truck and rail manager. She holds a B.S. in Marketing, Transportation and Logistics from Iowa State University.
