Alice Peres da Silva joined CN in 2006 as a Manager, CN Brokerage and was charged with leading the startup of CN Customs Brokerage Services where she continues to develop innovative systems for CN’s partners and customers. Prior to that, she had been the Manager at VWR International since October 2003 where she also started up the brokerage division and won a President’s Award for her exemplary contribution to the Company. Mrs. Peres da Silva who is now the Sr. Manager Customs Brokerage, started her career in Customs Brokerage in 1991 and achieved her CCS, CTCS designation and her Professional Brokerage License in 2002. Over the course of the years, she has spearheaded several key industry-leading projects and most recently has expanded CN Customs Brokerage Services into the U.S. and Mexico markets for the first time. Mrs. Peres da Silva holds an Honours Bachelor of Chemistry degree from Bombay University, a Professional Brokerage License, is Certified Trade Compliance Specialist and a Certified Customs Specialist.
