After 6 years working in the U.S. Senate, Scott moved back to his hometown, Omaha, to follow his dream of brewing. He is a graduate of Seibel Institute’s WBA Associate Program. While working at Nebraska Brewing Company he met his partner Bobby Kros. Soon they began working out plans for their own packaging brewery with a focus on hoppy beers. Since opening in 2017, Scott has managed the business side of the rapidly growing brewery. In their first full year of operations the brewery won a Silver Medal for Hazy IPA at the 2018 GABF.
