Ken Smith has been with Samuel Adams for 23 years (but has 33 years of industry experience) and is responsible for teaching everything “beer.” He was the second person with Boston Beer to achieve Certified Cicerone® (There are currently 117 Certified Cicerones® working for Boston Beer!) He is also a BJCP beer judge and an award-winning homebrewer. He has occupied a number of sales positions from District manager to Region manager, engaging in sales planning and execution. Most recently he was the Director of Training and taught classes on selling and negotiating skills, presentation skills, people development, and wholesaler interaction. Ken loves his job!
