David Smarte is employed by NAEC as their Global Education and Safety Officer with multileveled-based experience. Smarte oversees and monitors operations to ensure quality, safety-compliant execution of job-site activities, code compliance of conveyances, training of individuals in installing, maintaining, and inspecting are followed. He is a respected leader with experience assembling and guiding multidisciplinary teams in all aspects of elevator related industry. David is skilled at designing, facilitating training/orientation sessions on diverse operational for safety, installing, and maintaining practices for the elevator industry. He has a history of success in devising and executing strategies that significantly enhance workplace efficiency and safety and is trained and experienced in ASME, ANSI, OSHA, and other state/federal safety regulations.
