Tim Putnam




TIM PUTNAM, DHA, MBA, FACHE, is President and CEO of Margaret Mary Health in Batesville, Indiana and has over 30 years of healthcare experience. He received his MBA from the University of Southern Indiana and Doctorate in Health Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina where his dissertation was focused on the treatment of acute stroke patients in community hospitals. He currently chairs of the National Rural Health Association’s Policy Congress, Indiana Graduate Medical Education Board and the National Rural Accountable Care Consortium. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Indiana Hospital Association and the Cincinnati Health Collaborative. He also lectures on community healthcare leadership at Xavier University and Indiana University Healthcare Administration programs. In 2015 Dr. Putnam completed training as an Emergency Medical Technician and serves on the Batesville Fire and EMS Lifesquad.
