Robert Pyatt




Pyatt describes himself as a stand-up scientist. He’s written for The Annals of Improbable Research, served as a resident scientist-educator at a movie theater, and directed a genetic diagnostic laboratory. He holds a doctorate in pathology from Ohio State University, and he’s currently an associate professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of South Dakota. One of his favorite science articles is “Swedish Cows Make Lousy Earthquake Detectors,” (2009).
