Nancy Nakano Conner
Conner recently retired after 30-plus years as Director of Grants at Indiana Humanities. She taught at Purdue University and Iowa State University and is a past president of the Indiana Association of Historians. Her article “From Internment to Indiana,” published in the Indiana Magazine of History, won the Thornbrough Award in 2006.
