Jennifer McSpadden




Originally from England, McSpadden always had a great interest in history. After coming to the United States, she worked as a newspaper reporter and columnist in Wabash, Ind., and later became a volunteer at the Wabash County Historical Museum. Her main research project was to compile a definitive list of local Civil War fatalities. The research included archival material, especially letters published in newspapers of the time. That led to a decision to publish as many letters as possible to raise public awareness of the soldiers’ war experiences. Email jakm40@comcast.net.
