William Yarber




Yarber is provost professor and senion scientist at The Kinsey Institute, Indiana University. He has authored/co-authored 160 scientific reports on sexual risk behavior and AIDS/STD prevention and has received $4 million in federal grants. He is a member of the Kinsey Institute Condom Use Research Team, developers of condom-use behavioral interventions. Yarber has been a consultant to the World Health Organization's Global Program on AIDS, and sexuality and HIV-related organizations worldwide. He is the lead author of a college human sexuality textbook (10th edition, 2019) used in 300 colleges nationwide and in China and Korea.
