Vinayaka Nakul Prasad is a Product Portfolio Manager at Siemens Gas and Power. In this role he is currently working on decarbonization strategies for the gas turbine fleet with a focus on hydrogen. In his previous role at Siemens, he worked as an R&D combustion engineer and project manager for the latest generation heavy-duty gas turbine combustor development programs. Prior to joining Siemens in 2014, he worked as a post-doctoral researcher in numerical combustion at the University of Sydney. He holds a Ph.D. from Imperial College London and a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt.
