Sukanta Halder received his B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College, West Bengal, India, in 2009; and his M.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Electric Drives and Power Electronics from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee, India, in 2011; where he received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering, in 2017. He is presently working as Research Fellow at Rolls-Royce@NTU Corporate Lab, Singapore. His current research interests include Grid Compliance, distributed genset LVRT, PMSM drives, multi-level inverters, TLBC, sensorless drives, and power quality.
