Dr Jan Stempien is an expert in new energy technologies and associated policies. Since joining The Lantau Group as a Consultant in early 2017, Jan has worked on a diverse range of projects that have focused on scrutinising the value of renewable energy sources, assessing the risks and opportunities of technological change within the power sector and analysing policy support for renewable energy and energy efficiency. Beyond direct project work, Jan has also run several offshore workshops on electricity market economics for industry stakeholders across the region and collaborated with local university and public policy think tank on distributed business models related to renewable energy and new energy technologies.
