Has been in the Electricity Supply Industry(ESI) for over 30 years now, first in the Malaysian Electricity Utility (Tenaga Nasional Berhad) and presently Malakoff Corporation Berhad, a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP). In his career span, he participated in a number of significant development work including the restructuring of the ESI, development of the IPP program, 1st as the Offtaker and later as a developer and the construction & commissioning of the largest independent coal fired power plants; the 2100MW Tanjung Bin Power Plant and 1000MW Tanjung Bin Energy Power Plant in Malaysia. He has an Electrical Engineering Degree from Loughborough University of Technology, UK and an MBA from University Malaysia, Malaysia. Azhari was Head of Business Development from 2009 - 2017. He currently leads the Operations and Project Management Services Group
