David Nicholson is a Technical Director and Lead consultant for ERM’s Biodiversity practice for Asia Pacific. David has 20 years of experience in the environment sector including environmental impact assessment, biodiversity assessment and management, forest management, water resources and public sector policy and economics. David is experienced with the application of the Equator Principles and the IFC Performance Standard 6 Biodiversity Conservation and Sustainable Management of Living Natural Resources (IFC6). He has worked on projects subject to assessment under the Asian Development Bank Safeguard Policy Statement. He has worked on several large power projects in the Asia Pacific, including hydropower, geothermal, wind, solar and conventional power.
