Gourav is a Project Manager, Renewable Energy, Black & Veatch. He is involved in owner’s and lender’s engineering roles and has successfully performed techno-commercial feasibility analysis of potential projects, renewable energy resource analysis, evaluation of techno-commercial bids, negations with bidders, and renewable power project management. Prior to joining Black & Veatch, Gaurav worked for Suzlon Energy Ltd. where he conducted wind resource assessments, monitored wind farm developments from concept through commissioning, provided techno-commercial analysis, conducted risk assessments and policy analysis and was actively engaged in prudent discussions with various nodal and regulatory agencies. He held similar responsibilities as a research associate for The Energy and Resource Institute (TERI) in New Delhi and has worked with Research Center Juelich, Germany with the System Analysis and Evaluation group. He holds Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from University of Pune, India and a Masters in Renewable Energy Systems from University of Aachen, Germany. Gaurav is a certified Chartered Engineer and has authored renewable energy book chapters, several papers, and posters, and spoken at international forums.
