Aaron Goach is a longtime Member of the POWER-GEN Asia Advisory Board and Deal Flow and Green Energy Co-Chair, Mekong Vice-Chair and Finance and Membership Officer of the Independent Power Producers Forum, a POWER-GEN Asia 2018 Supporting Organization. Mr. Goach began his career on Wall Street advising companies in the Dow Jones Utility Average, before moving to Hong Kong after the Asian Financial Crisis to work on the privatisation and listing of China's public enterprises, including many power generation and infrastructure companies, first as a lawyer at Freshfields and later as a Director at Merrill Lynch. Currently, Mr. Goach is: ⁃ Chairman and CEO of Global Criterion Solutions, a strategic capital firm and Google Partner promoting clean, smart and sustainable technologies and impact investing in frontier markets across APEC, ASEAN and SAARC; ⁃ Independent Non-Executive Director of Blue Sky Energy Asia, a specialist financing and development company dedicated to structuring and funding tailored infrastructure upgrades to help clients improve energy management and reduce energy costs; and ⁃ General Counsel of Laykin Communications, a provider of comprehensive communication services for brands, services, corporate entities, NGOs and governments. A Bretton Woods Committee member and regular delegate to ADB, APEC, ASEAN, IMF, World Bank and World Economic Forum meetings, Mr. Goach has appeared on Bloomberg TV, CNN and other media networks and been featured in major industry publications. Mr. Goach is a graduate of Harvard University, where he was a Teaching Fellow in the Economics Department of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Harvard College.
