Kate Velasquez, Director of Design Strategy with Empire Office, is a long time design advocate in New York’s A+D community. Kate is a graduate of the DAAP program at the University of Cincinnati and began her career in workplace with Mancini Duffy. She spent time in their New York and London offices and later worked on the manufacturing side for Steelcase. Kate transitioned to Empire office in 2017 where she focuses on business development, major project accounts and growth initiatives.
