Guilherme Wentz is a product designer graduated of Universidade de Caxias do Sul in Southern Brazil. He worked inside the luxury tableware company Riva before starting his own studio. On his debut he was awarded by Idea Brasil, Brazil Design Award and the international iF Design Award. Based in São Paulo since 2014, the 30 year-old designer has worked with leading Brazilian design brands in addition to his work as art director of the brand Decameron. In 2016 he was again awarded the iF Design Award and nominated "Rising Talent" by Maison&Objet Americas. This year was also nominated "Rising Talent" by the first Casa Vogue Design Award. More recently, he launched his own brand WENTZ, in partnership with the entrepreneur Rafael Gehrke, to produce and distribute the studio signature pieces worldwide. A collection of furniture, lighting and home accessories.
