Christopher Sulewski Corporate Safety Director for DTE Energy Christopher Sulewski has been with DTE Energy for the past 11 years. During his time at DTE Energy he has held various roles of increasing responsibilities from engineering to operations and more recently safety management. In his current safety role, Chris is responsible for the oversight of the safety programs designed to protect all 10,000 employees and contractors at DTE Energy. Chris has also been instrumental in the onboarding of COVE’s Visual Literacy training into their hazard identification and incident investigation programs. He has helped facilitate the training of over 2,000 employees from DTE Energy, which provides a structured approach for employees to be able to more accurately identify and communicate the hazards around them. Prior to his current role, Chris spent 8 years as an Industrial Engineer with Lear Automotive, a leading supplier of automotive seating and electrical, delivering quality seating systems to the auto industry. He is also a Certified Safety Professional, CSP. Chris received a Bachelor of Science from Wayne State University in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Science from Oakland University in Safety Management.
