Ngwe Thawdar received her B.Sc. in electrical engineering with minor in mathematics from the State University of New York Binghamton University in 2009 and her M.Sc. and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the State University of New York University at Buffalo in 2011 and 2018 respectively. She has been with Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate in Rome, NY since 2012. Her research include wireless spread spectrum communications, cooperative communications and software-defined radio implementation. Her latest research interest is on communications and networking in emerging spectral bands such as mm-waves and terahertz band frequencies. She is currently serving as technical lead for AFRL’s Viability Assessment for Ultra-broadband Long-range Terahertz Communications program.
