Brian Bond Vice President External Affairs Southwestern Electric Power Company American Electric Power Brian Bond is Vice President External Affairs for Southwestern Electric Power Company (SWEPCO). His strategic focus is on community relations, economic development and public policy matters. He participates in building and maintaining external relationships with regulators, legislators, community leaders, consumers and other stakeholders who have an impact on AEP activities in Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas. Bond has served in a variety of environmental management positions with AEP throughout his 37 year career. He received a bachelor's degree in natural and applied sciences and a master of business administration degree from Louisiana State University-Shreveport.
